Here I am -- writing, reading, exercising, cooking, and sometimes cleaning my home. I try to do that last thing as little as possible. This blog is purposefully kept up as a way to stay accessible on social media since I have big dreams of continuing to be an author. If you'd be so kind, check out my available stories! I keep a running list of published works here, at the top post: http://trayellis.dreamwidth.org/

muffin tins
Pi(e) Day was last week, and I made little mini-pies (muffins!) to bring in to work to our Pi Day celebration. And since I had the muffin tins out, I also made a batch of oatmeal cakes to bring to a co-worker for her birthday, and then extra mini-pies for eating through-out the week as a snack. I am tired of washing those muffin tins. I realized as I was washing them (again, again, again) this morning that I really dislike muffin tins. Even when the little paper cups are used, there's always some crumbles that get on the tin, and you have to wash each and every cup.
I'm going back to the one big pie plate for a while. So much easier to wash. ;)
