Here I am -- writing, reading, exercising, cooking, and sometimes cleaning my home. I try to do that last thing as little as possible. This blog is purposefully kept up as a way to stay accessible on social media since I have big dreams of continuing to be an author. If you'd be so kind, check out my available stories! I keep a running list of published works here, at the top post: http://trayellis.dreamwidth.org/

cookie issues
I love cookies, and I love making my own cookies. Getting out the ingredients is fun, measuring is fun, mixing is fun, eating is fun. The part that isn't fun?
Putting the cookie dough on the cookie sheet!
For whatever reason, I *despise* that part of it. It's so tedious, and there's all sorts of issues about spacing to consider!
It is also the part I dislike the most when making muffins, or cupcakes. Multiple filling just makes me groan.
I suppose I should just start making cake. One big blob of batter into one container, and done with it!
But while I like cake, I love cookies so much more.
